5th Bangsamoro Foundation Day Kick-Off Ceremony
The Bangsamoro Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage (BCPCH-BARMM) joined other BARMM offices, ministries, and agencies on the kick-off ceremony of the 5th Bangsamoro Foundation Day today, January 21, 2023, at the Bangsamoro Government Center in Cotabato City.
The celebration was highlighted by a procession representing the identity of the Bangsamoro people. BCPCH, as the lead agency in preserving the BARMM’s cultural heritage, actively participated during the opening program through a cultural performance entitled “Bayok.”
The week-long celebration is themed “A journey towards mutual understanding, peaceful co-existence, and shared vision for the future in the Bangsamoro,” includes a variety of activities and events that highlight cultural richness, resilience, and aspirations as we continue our journey toward progress and prosperity.
BCPCH Chairperson Salem Y. Lingasa, Ph.D., expressed his deep appreciation to the Commission’s Provincial Commissioners for their dedication and active participation in the 5th Bangsamoro Foundation Day kick-off ceremony.
