PANDAN BAG MAKING (Province of Maguindanao)

This bag is more than simply an accessory, it is a source of income for the women of Paglat municipality. Maguindanaon pandan bag is made of pandan leaves and “silal”. Maguindanaon women used “Glana Powder” to color the pandan leaves and “silal” to create a design.

LANGKIT MAKING (Province of Lanao del Sur)

A traditional Meranao multi-colored fabric that is woven or embroidered on a backstrap loom and typically made using nature-inspired themes. It is traditionally used to highlight the “Landap” or “Malong” or as a neck ribbon.

TEPO WEAVING (Province of Tawi-Tawi)

Tepo is very popular in creating handicrafts like traditional mats from symmetrical or geometric patterns ascended with traditional designs to form the anticipated output. These traditional mats are used in Sama households for sleeping, furniture covers, decorations, and even displays. Because of this skill, it became an additional income for indigenous women of Tandubas municipality.
